The end of an era.
I am so excited that we have returned to A Piece of My Heart after all of these months, and can still pull it off just as well as we did in November. Kameron mentioned that it's like "coming home," which I believe sums up this feeling perfectly. There is one show tonight (a benefit performance to raise money for Internationals), and our final performance will be this summer in Lincoln, Nebraska.
And then, the seniors are completely FINISHED. Hard to believe it's been four years of non-stop Tomball STAGE. Not going to lie, I'm kind of ready to move on. But the funny thing is, when it's all said and done, I am not going to know what to do with myself!
Sixty days.
Well, this means a couple things:
1.) My life is about to become a whole lot busier, if that's even possible. April is going to kick my butt (with the continuation of Blood Wedding competitions, the resurrection of A Piece of My Heart, the beginning of AP Economics test tutoring sessions, and so much more).
2.) Though I can't wait for this year to be over, I have a feeling I'm going to miss some of it after I leave. Therefore, I'm trying my best to appreciate everything in my life at this moment and to make the best of my last high school experiences. Speaking of which—
3.) Prom is coming up real soon. And the ballgown dress I really wanted cannot be found anywhere. But luckily, there is another one that I am absolutely in love with, and it just happened to be in my size! It's completely different than what I had in mind, but after trying it on, I decided that it was perfect. (Instead of describing it, I'll post pictures after the big weekend—surprises are better, anyway.)
I know that the end is near, but I'm struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hurry up, June 5th.
