A real-life fairytale.
Didn't Kate look breathtakingly beautiful? I thought that the dress, designed by Sarah Burton, was absolutely perfect for her. Everything about the wedding was perfect, in my opinion... But I just can't believe that the biggest event of the century is actually over and done with! (Hold up, ladies. Prince Harry is next in line to the throne, and from what I understand, he's single...)

Lost in Aggieland.
A photo summary of my wonderful trip to College Station (better late than never):
A photo shoot in Downtown Bryan, a birthday dinner for Shelby, a wacky A&M tradition, and multiple "family" reunions. It was lovely! Katie, thank you for such a great weekend... Please invite us again! (We'll try not to turn your kitchen into such a mess next time.)
French vanilla, please.
By noon tomorrow, I'll be on my way home for the Easter weekend. What's so exciting about this, you're wondering? Well, half-way to Houston, in a little town called Giddings, I plan on making my traditional stop at this wonderful establishment:
to fill up on gas, take a quick potty break (in their fabulous restrooms), and most importantly...
visit my favorite road-trip buddy:
the cappuccino maker.
What can I say? I've been craving the sugary stuff all week. And tomorrow, I can have it! (Be jealous.)

Three wishes.
1.) I wish for freedom. Freedom from unnecessary fears and doubts that keep me from becoming the woman I was created to be. I wish for the confidence to live my life with conviction, the courage to love without limits, and the determination to make a difference in this world. I wish for the fortitude to work hard, embrace suffering, and submit to God's will unconditionally.
2.) I wish that the certain man on my mind, of whom I've known of for quite some time, could know the wonder in my heart I hold for him by simply looking into my eyes. Rather than having to rely on a mess of ambiguous words, I wish that all it took was a single glance for him to recognize the pure admiration that my soul has for his. It's a fondness of sorts, a deep respect of the person that I understand him to be. I want him to accept my unspoken honesty with appreciation, as strange or sudden as it might seem (and I selfishly hope to someday be the object of his thoughts as well). But even greater than this, I wish him a life full of love and happiness, whether I'm a part of it or not.
3.) I wish that I was in Rayne right now. I can't wait to have coffee with my grandparents, reminisce with my Godmother, and laugh with my cousins. I wish that our Easter celebration would last longer than a weekend, and I wish that Lance could come home to share it with us.
Yet another (wonderful) Friday.
Ever since the beginning of March, I feel like the weeks have been coming and going at full speed, as if spring itself has become impatient for the summertime. I really can't believe that we're already in mid-April; Lent is three-fourths of the way over (it feels like it just begun!), Easter is right around the corner, and my first year of college is almost a wrap. Seriously, where did the time go?
Pretty soon (in about a month or so), dorm-room living will be history, and I will be gearing up for my last summer in Houston with my parents. Hopefully by this time, I will have registered for a short semester at UH and have a job pinned down for the summer (still working on it). I'm actually looking forward to being able to make a few bucks while at the same time getting 3 hours of coursework out of the way for next fall. Not too much of a workload, but just enough to keep me productive for three whole months at home. Plus, the first week of June is sure to be quite busy, with a close friend's wedding in College Station and my cousin's wedding in Colorado back-to-back. (Not only do I adore weddings, but I have a feeling that these are going to be the best darn ones I've ever been to. And all in the same week! Bliss.)
Before summer sneaks up on me, however, I plan on spending a couple of my free weekends partying it up with family and friends, most of which I haven't seen since Winter Break. On the agenda for this one? A visit to Aggieland (I feel as if I mention this place a lot...) to reminisce with my girls Katie, Marissa, and Shelby. We haven't had a reunion since October! I'm definitely looking forward to more of this:
Bring on the girl talk!
