The only two words that come to mind when thinking of how to describe this week's Austin adventure? Sinfully delicious. Yep, that'll do. After lunch on Saturday, Kristen and I took Kameron to a popular donut stand called Gourdough's on South Lamar. (Okay, as much as I would like to take credit for this one, it was actually Kameron who told us about Gourdough's and suggested that we pay a visit. She's sort of brilliant, that girl.)
Each donut was a little less than $5, and we waited about ten minutes before our orders were ready, but it didn't take more than a few bites for us to realize that these things were well worth the wait (and the money).
^^^ Yes, there's an actual donut underneath all of that chocolate. ^^^
Miss Shortcake, Naughty & Nice, Razzle Dazzle... These were just a few of the delectable combinations that we had to choose from—this place definitely offers something for everyone! After a few moments of careful consideration, I was able to narrow it down to two that sounded the most appetizing to me: PB&J and Heavenly Hash. From the photo above, I'm sure you can guess which one I decided to go with. And holy schnikes, was it heavenly. Even if you're not a big donut fan, Gourdough's qualifies as one of those Austin-y things/places that everyone needs to experience at least once (or, you know, once a month).

Love the shot of the five year old trying to crawl into the infant carrier behind your friends. ;-)
